Nature Conservation Foundation
NCF and the Snow Leopard Trust work together in India’s high altitudes, striving to help conserve the snow leopard – as well as the diversity of life & landscapes that this beautiful cat symbolizes – in a scientifically robust and socially responsible manner.
Herder’s Cooperative
The All Changthang Pashmina Growers Cooperative Marketing Society (ACPGCMS), or the Herders’ Cooperative, is a keystone in the value chain of Ladakh Pashmina. Set up in 1995, it is an association of the pashmina rearing people of Changthang aiming to fulfil their economic and social aspirations.
Looms of Ladakh
Looms of Ladakh is a rural women’s cooperative movement to establish the luxury textile cottage industry of Ladakh. It aims to expand to all villages of Ladakh and hand-hold rural women members in craft revivalism, skill development and democratic management of cooperative business and affairs through elected representatives.
